Langdon Tactical Technologies Impact Rifle – 6.5 Creedmoor Review

The Langdon Tactical Technologies Impact Rifle has been making noise ever since prototypes started popping up at events, and now that I’ve had proper time behind the gun, it’s finally time to break down what this thing actually is — not the marketing pitch, not the hype, just real performance.

This rifle comes chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a round that needs no introduction. It’s a proven performer for long-range work, and it’s brutally honest about whether a rifle system is dialed in or not. If something is off — barrel quality, torque, harmonics, trigger slop — 6.5 Creed will expose it fast.

LTT didn’t reinvent the wheel here, but they did tighten up the things that matter. The rifle feels purpose-built: predictable recoil impulse, clean break on the trigger, and ergonomics that don’t fight you when you’re behind the glass for long strings. Nothing on this platform is flashy, and frankly that’s refreshing. It’s a rifle designed for shooters, not catalog models.

Accuracy is exactly where it needs to be for this class. Even without exotic match loads, the Impact Rifle holds its own and shows clear consistency shot after shot. If you feed it the good stuff, it rewards you with groups that make you double-check your target because the holes start stacking.

Where it stands out most is how stable it feels under recoil. The return-to-target behavior is predictable — no weird hop, no surprise lateral drift. If you’re running drills, zeroing, or stretching distance, the rifle behaves the same every time. That kind of consistency is where rifles earn their place in a long-range lineup.

It’s not all sunshine. Like every platform, there are details that could be cleaner, and I’ll save some of those for the full breakdown in the video review. But overall, this rifle is a legitimate entry into the precision space, and LTT clearly knew what they wanted this gun to be.

For anyone eyeing a versatile long-range setup that doesn’t require a small mortgage, the Impact Rifle deserves a serious look.
