Range Bag Essentials

A good range day starts before the first shot. This is my practical bag setup so I spend time training, not troubleshooting avoidable problems.

Core Loadout

  • Eye/ear protection (plus backup set).
  • Pistol/rifle mags pre-staged and clearly separated.
  • Lube, basic tools, and torque driver.
  • Small medical kit with trauma baseline (tourniquet, pressure dressing).
  • Notebook or phone notes for tracking performance and zero changes.

Nice-To-Have But Worth It

  • Shot timer for objective reps.
  • Simple tripod or camera mount for review footage.
  • Dedicated trash and brass bags to keep your lane clean.
  • Weather layer and hydration, especially for long sessions.
