The Big Footprints You Need To Know
RMR Pattern
Most common duty/defensive pattern. Tons of optics and aftermarket plate support.
RMSc / K Pattern
Popular on slimmer concealed-carry pistols. Great for micro compact setups.
ACRO Pattern
Enclosed-emitter friendly footprint increasingly common on modern optics-ready slides.
DPP Pattern
Still relevant depending on plate ecosystem and specific optic choice.
My Mounting Workflow
- Confirm exact slide cut and optic footprint before you buy.
- Use the correct plate and screw length; verify thread engagement.
- Torque to manufacturer spec and apply the right thread locker.
- Reconfirm torque after initial range session.
